TwoThirteen started as a duo almost six years ago with Chad DarkWait and Zack Dees. After touring and playing all over the southeast and trying out various members for bass, Danny 13 landed the spot. They continued playing for nearly a year before adding front man Allen Nasty. He was what the band needed and shortly after his induction into TwoThirteen they wrote and recorded THE MEEK SHALL PERISH. Years went by and countless shows and touring happened. Then Danny 13 left to pursue other things. Within a few weeks Chad got a hold of long time friend and x band mate Gilbert Walker. He was very skilled at bass, and fit what the band was trying to do. October 31st their long awaited second cd will hit, and fuck up minds everywhere. TwoThirteen goal as it has always been is to create black metal influenced horror rock. TwoThirteen raise its middle finger to a scene that is watered down. Where every band has the same message and the same breakdown. You will not hear sweeps, you will not hear breakdowns, you will hear their attempt to write songs that they love and they feel the targeted audience can pump a fist and sing along to.
