   About Two Year Reunion
My name is Chris Cowan, and I play piano, write songs, and sing. Here's some of my stuff. Right now most of it is kind of old (except for "I Knew"), so I'm gonna post some new stuff as soon as I get some new equipment. You can check out my regular profile here and my website here. The name, "two year reunion" comes from when my wife and I, before we were married, were reunited after being unable to see eachother for two years.

“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Cor.

Hope you have a great Christmas and new year!

Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life. - Paul the Apostle (1 Timothy 1:14-16)

Happy Easter, musical Chris profile!

"Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?"
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
1 Corinthians 15:55-58

Happy Thanksgiving, to the third Chris cowan myspace!

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will– to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.
Ephesians 1:3-7

...very nice harmonies indeed....by the way I noticed you liked Daniel Johnston so I thought I'd point you in the direction of a UK acoustic group that I hear Will Oldham likes called Quarter-Pounder. If you think Daniel has had it hard, listen to this. Quarter-Pounder have battled homelessness, insanity, amputations, divorces, crippling obesity, prison and countless odd, horrible day jobs and while this is reflected in their songs, they're still very easy on the ear. Maybe you know of them already? One of their fans has set up a web site where you can download a bunch of their songs for free at www.quarter-pounder.co.uk....and they're also on myspace...Check it out...
