The White Rabbit brand brings together a wide collective of Djs, Producers and promoters who all share the same vision of electronica. We currently run a night in Bristol at one of its coolest underground venues, The Dojo Lounge. The residents alone have been pulling in capacity crowds every month, but TWR also aims to showcase other talent whether it be high profile djs or up and coming talent. There have been world class performances from the likes of Jim Rivers (Global Underground, Saved records), Aidan Lavelle ( UNKLE, Global Underground) Leama (Baroque, Leama & Moor), James Davis (Lost Language), Lukas (Dirt Crew) and TWR has recognised up and coming talent such as Fletch (Hooj Tunes) and October (Ninja Tunes) and given them the opportunity to prove they have the potential to reach worldwide accolation.
The resident Djs come from all over the country so there are influences from various house music scenes where our residents have played at nights such as the massive Cool House (Cardiff) and prestigious venues such as Turnmills (London) and Lakota (Bristol), aswell as various venues around Europe.
The night was started up by JIMMY FARR and MR NICHOLAS originally in a smalll club called Dojos on a thursday night. Here they invited down friends and Djs from Cardiff, RICHY LUCAS and THE THOMAS FOUNDATION to join the team. Their persistance to play nothing but cutting edge music acclaimed recognition and earned them a weekend slot at The Arc Bar where co promoter MATTY ROBERTS joined them alongside some more new exciting recruits.
During a gig warming up for Leama at Lakota in Bristol, they played alongside FUCHA ELEKTRONIKZ, 3 djs who had originally formed in Stoke on Trent. It was clear they had an instant connection both through music and personality, and soon after they became the new addition to the team. Fucha Elektronikz have performed alongside some of the Worlds greatest acts. Not only are they acclomplished dj's but they also share a passion for productions with various releases due out under different aliases in the near future.
There are more exciting events and more crazy party antics in store for the future as The White Rabbit continues to grow at extraordinary speed. James Davis Collaborations with Leama under the guise Graffiti and his solo productions have earned him recognition by the likes of Sasha. Other prospects of some mouthwatering productions from our residents include releases on Hooj Tunes, Remix work for Hybrid, and a collaboration with Cheshire Catz so keep your eyes peeled !!
