Kingfisher Days

Susan Coyne is the co-creator and co-writer of the popular Canadian TV series, Slings & Arrows, and has won 2 Gemini Awards (Canada's equivalent to the Emmy) for her work on that show. TWTP is proud to present the U.S. premiere of Ms. Coyne's charming play, Kingfisher Days. Based on her acclaimed memoir, the play takes place during 5-year old Susan's summer at a lake cottage in the woods of Ontario. We meet her parents and siblings, her grandfatherly neighbor (Mr. Moir), and a banished fairy princess (Nootsie Tah) with whom Susan has a summer-long correspondence. The play is a delight for adults and children alike.
