One of our mutual myspace "friends" that used to be named "JUST SAY NO TO FRED THOMPSON" has changed his name to "Mike Huckabee: NOT a True Conservative" and is now a site that attacks Mike. The site appears to support Ron Paul the most. I'm guessing the attacks are in response to Huckabee's tremendous, consistent growth.
As Mike always says, these attacks are likely a good sign, since it shows that he is now considered a very real possibility to win the Republican nomination. Huckabee recently tied Giuliani for first in the nation in the Rasmussen polls! (-:
AMERICA ELECTS GOVERNORS FOR PRESIDENT !!! If history is true to itself, Governor Mike Huckabee could soon be President Mike Huckabee !!!
With Governor Mike Huckabee's rising poll numbers (now 17%), it's easy to see that he is on his way to the White House.
Grasp This Fact from Union University Professor, Harry Lee Poe -- Americans do not elect Senators to be President except in the case of John Kennedy and and Warren Harding. Professor Poe further states - "If history repeats itself for the umpteenth time, when we get to the primaries the news media will report on the surprising upset when all the senators get beaten. Consider who beat all the senators in the 20th century: Gov. McKinley, Gov. Taft, Gov. Wilson, Gov. Roosevelt, Gov. Carter, Gov. Reagan, Gov. Clinton and Gov. Bush. What puzzles me is why the news media have not noticed what seems to be a trend: American voters prefer presidential candidates with some administrative experience." Another of his keen observations was that "the likely candidates do not appear until the primaries."
"Democracy is a wonderful thing, because it places the responsibility for government in the hands of the people. We have no one to blame but ourselves if we do not like what happens in government... Unfortunately, most Americans who bother to vote have little choice in our system of government. We wait until the presidential election in November when the field has been narrowed down to two viable candidates. The real choice comes now when we can have a say in who the candidates will be. The great excitement of democracy lies in selecting the candidates who will run."
I like what Professor Poe says. His point is well taken.
Governor Mike Huckabee has started climbing in the polls. He now has more momentum that many of the presidential contenders. We, the grass root constituents are participating in one of the most important events of this nation. When we tell friends about Go
