The newest addition to the TM Corp family is TYAD Pictures (TP), the movie studio/film division of the music group. TM Corp CEO Jerry Holden has for a long time felt for TM Corp to be recognized as a strong entertainment entity, motion pictures is an essential piece of the master puzzle. As with the presidents of his record labels, Holden has also personally handpicked entertainer Shea Chambers to head up TYAD Pictures, who in addition is the advisory board director at TM Corp. The music industry stopped to take notice as Chambers was a featured vocalist on songs written by such artists as, Brenda Russell, Bryan Adams, and Barry White. Her performance on the title track, "Endless Love", written and produced by Lionel Ritchie, gave her national acclaim in the recording industry. She is no stranger to the small screen either. Chambers has appeared on numerous TV shows, including, The Arsenio Hall Show, Entertainment Tonight, Inside Edition, Showtime, Dharma & Greg, and 7th Heaven.
President Chambers has now enlisted the services of Steven Ritchie as senior vice president, and Wil Evans as vice president of development, to assist her in building TYAD Pictures' staff and roster of films. Ritchie, son of industry vet Michael Ritchie, over the past 10 years has evaluated, analyzed, and developed budgets, schedules, treatments, stories and specs for some 30 films, countless music videos and commercials, as well as television shows for NBC, PBS, FOX, the Sci-Fi Network, and the National Geographic Society. Evans, straight from Hollywood as a producer with a large entertainment group, brings his vast knowledge and experience of contracts, scheduling and budgeting on movie projects, and managing crews of 50 or more. With a degree in digital media, editing and animation from John Brown University, Wil started his career as an underwater cameraman shooting scuba diving and windsurfing in Hawaii.
TYAD Pictures will concentrate its efforts on acquiring new and established production companies, along with joining the ranks of the industry’s five major movie studios, by creating its own distribution network through direct relationships with the major movie theaters in the United States, as well as world-wide. Under the direction of Chambers, along with senior vice president Steven Ritchie, and vice president of development Wil Evans, the company’s goals are to release at least twelve major films in the genres of comedies, and action, along with family, that are produced, co-produced, and acquired by TYAD Pictures in 2009. Regarding TMG's record labels, TYAD Pictures will be the driving force in developing and producing all of the artists' music videos. Steven and Wil have been responsible for some of the industry’s most innovative featured films. Now they bring their professional expertise to TYAD Pictures.
