It's basically my attempt at a distorted house-genre song. My influences were "Hang Him Higher" by Wumpscut and "This Shit Will Fuck You Up" by Combichrist. [The title is somewhat obviously derived from the latter.]
Sun Will Set:
This is a short, short cover of a Zoe Keating song.
Defrost ~The Process~:
This was originally a lot faster and shorter, and I slowed down the final version of the original song by 20% after I finished recording. The result is a slower, better executed song with the slight muddled sound that I needed.
Snow Underneath:
This is a song I made to reflect the winter season(of 2005), not the holidays associated with it. I tried to reflect images of snow and ice in it.
Before I Die:
Some things are just too personal to describe; however, I will tell you that the title may plant certain thoughts in your head about me that aren't quite accurate.
Shaman:
Surprise surprise! It’s another solo cello looped piece. I’m going to mainly focus on making cello tracks from now on. I came up with this song when I was supposed to be studying for an exam, but I had to record it… It’s about an old man’s trying to save his village, and the modernity that destroys it all.

Oh, oh, if ONLY there had been fainting! As it is, I think I'll have to wait for a U.S. Emilie Autumn concert to see some on-stage swooning. Now THERE'S a woman who knows how to faint!
