49 years old???? Damn I’m getting old!!
After high school I went to college for a couple years received a AS degree but......got lazy and didn't finish my BS.
In Oct. of '82 I married Cheryl...we celebrated 25 years in '07...not bad, if I do say so myself. We have three great kids, a daughter and two sons.
Oldest daughter graduated from Grand Valley State in the spring of '08 and is now in Colorado. Oldest son is starting his forth year at Purdue in the Mechanical Engineering Program, and youngest graduated from high school in the spring of '08 and is now attending Southwestern Michigan College.
In '84 I got a job with New Energy Co., an ethanol plant. Still here...started out as a production operator and now manage the Shipping/Receiving Department.
Over the years I have coached the boys in baseball and soccer. Had very successful and rewarding years in little league baseball. The highlight came in '04 with a trip to the USSSA World Series in Tulsa, OK.

Have been involved with the Boy Scouts for years. Both boys have earned the rank of Eagle Scout...
Through scouting I have been fortunate enough to make two backpacking trips to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico, with elder son in '03, and youngest this year, ‘08. Youngest and I also took a wilderness canoe trip to the Boundary Waters of Minnesota in '06.
We are very, very proud of our kids.
The parenting thing is finally winding down for us and I am looking forward to being able to do more things with Cheryl...just the two of us. We kind of got a head start last year...as I said earlier, Cheryl and I celebrated our 25th. Anniversary....our gift to ourselves was a Caribbean cruise....absolutely loved it and got hooked. We have another booked for ‘09.
