Tyler Grant is a versatile guitarist with a wide range of influences and musical expertise. He is a member of the Drew Emmitt Band (singer/mandolinist of Leftover Salmon) and Casey and Chris and the Two Stringers (an incredible bluegrass band.) He has recently unveiled his honkytonk bluegrass alter-ego, Tavern Grass, to much aplomb in Nashville. The band features the incomparable Mike Bub on bass and fascinating mando-luminary Chris Henry. ____________________________________________________________________________
Tyler is a gifted singer and songwriter as well, and released his first solo album, In The Light, in June 2006 on FGM Records, featuring some of his amazing friends from Nashville: Mike Bub, Casey Driessen, Andy Hall, Pat Enright, Chris Henry, Amanda Kowalski, Chris Pandolfi, Missy Raines, Steven Sandifer, and Scott Vestal. The album is a mix of original and traditional songs and instrumentals in the bluegrass and folk tradition. Plenty of hot pickin'. -CLICK HERE to buy In The
