The Beatles, Duke Ellington, Super Fury Animals, Fats Waller, Curtis Mayfield, Chet Baker, Bob Marley, Ahmad Jamal, Pink Floyd, Frank Sinatra, Portishead, Oscar Peterson, Metric, Feist, Broken Social Scene, Sparlehorse, Blonde Redhead. Allright!! I'm tired of naming musical influences. The true influences are the beautiful people in my life. Also, the assholes have there place as well, it's not all roses and we have to deal with some fuckers occasionaly. Everything that happens day to day is what influences me.
Tyler Yarema is a professional musician who lives in Toronto. He is an award winning Jazz/Blues Piano Player, an accomplished singer and song writer. Tyler has played on over 40 recordings in numerous styles from Blues and Jazz to Pop and Reggae. Tyler has held a long standing regular house gig at the famous Reservoir Lounge in downtown Toronto. He can be found there every Tuesday and Saturday. Tyler has just completed his newest recording. Working along side famed producer Byron Wong was an amazing and inspiring experience. This newest c.d. proves to be a great change in many ways for Tyler. The journey... although long, has begun again, just a little further down the line.
