Tym guitars is an independent guitar shop like no other in Australia. Our retail shop in the heart of the Brisbane music scene offers our customers the best range of vintage to affordable second hand guitars, amps and effects pedals in Brisbane as well as stocking a full range of hardware, leads, strings etc including many exclusive dealerships, and we ship all over the world.
Our repair and custom shop makes a very limited number of hand crafted custom guitars, basses and effects pedals the way they should be made - completely by hand. We do all guitar and bass repair, restoration, refinishing and setup work as well as pick up rewinds, electronics and amp repairs. If it's broken or not playing like it should, we'll fix it.

1977 Fender Mustang.
MI USA. Good condition. Rare blonde finish. Maple neck with rosewood fretboard. Mid weight ash body. Has had a string bar fitted and removed. Plays and sounds like the big boys. This is a whole lotta Mustang. No case.

This is an fantastic Mustang! Sounds exactly like it should for all those surf and indie tones expected of it, but with a nice fuzz had some mean heavy stuff happening. I've always loved the Mustangs pickup switches and every combination sounds gorgeous on this!

An awesome fuzz we unfortunately won't be able to get again. A great Tonebender clone, perfect for recreating 60s fuzz tones like that of Yardbirds-era Jeff Beck, Ziggy-era Mick Ronson or Jimmy Page (if that's your thing).
We also have one in blue. When these two are gone, that's it.
