We sound like us. We've heard so many comparisons, everyone tries to label it. The best description we've heard so far is..."Staind on steroids..."
The most common ones are usually: Staind, Chevelle and Godsmack.

TYPE 14 BIO
Type 14 was founded on a vision, to create a unique sound reflective of their
musical inspirations, with great songwriting as their foundation. Hailing
from Allentown, Pennsylvania, Type 14 quickly established themselves as a
force to be reckoned with. Their commanding stage presence and high energy
live shows caught the attention of many during performances with MudVayne,
Sevendust, Dope, Cold, Type O Negative, Mushroom Head, Oleander, Ratt, Quiet Riot and many others. Their first recording, simply entitled “Type 14,” further
propelled the band, with 7 songs appearing on MTV's “Room Raiders,” “The Andy
Milonakis Show,” and “Viva La Bam”; VH1's “Breaking Bonaduce,” “Celebrity Fit Club” and "Celebrity Rehab; A&E’s “Chris Angel: Mind Freak” and “Gene Simmons Family Jewels”; E! Channel’s “The Gastineau Girls”; The Discovery Channel’s “Salute to Heroes: Iraq Confidential with Jesse James”; National Geographic’s “Swarms”; Nickelodeon's "Hi-Jinlks: Tony Hawk" and many more Following the success of their debut CD, Type 14 released their follow up "Open Your Eyes." The song “Fall” was featured on the Howard Stern Radio Show in July 2006. In August of 2006, Type 14 won the 95.1 FM WZZO Backyard Bands Contest. "Innovative and Passionate…heavy and dark at times, yet easily accessible to the world at large. Definitely one of the best new bands out of Pennsylvania" (Out On The Town Magazine). The members of Type 14, founder and bassist Frank Iafrate, lead vocalist/guitarist Jade Scott, guitarist Eric McDermott and drummer Chris Metzger, combine their diverse musical talents and experiences to create something special and dynamic. Dedication to their craft is apparent on every memorable song they create.
