The idea of starting a band got its spark in the year 2000 when Sami and Jussi graduated from primary school and decided to play together. Few years went by playing some old school thrash-metal songs by bands like Metallica, Slayer & Sepultura.
In the year 2004 Jussi & Sami started to play with Mika who had played with Sami in an 80's style heavy-metal band. First own songs were born and Jussi asked his brother Jarno if he could play some bass in the band. Things with Mika didn't work so good mainly because of the musical controversy. Mika was more of a typical heavy-metal guy while others were more into thrash- and death-metal.
After few weeks Sami got to know with Kari while studying in Vaasa. At the moment Kari was searching a band and he was interested in playing in the band. After couple rehearsals we were sure that Kari was the right guy allthhough he looked like a gay emo-kid, he played riffs like a thrasher. Band started to practise more active in the autumn 2005 - spring 2006 and new songs were born when Sami, Kari & Jarno all bring their own riffs and ideas along. After a while Sami asked his childhood friend Kai if he could sing in the band. We first played some cover songs with Kai because we didn't yet have any own lyrics. Everyone liked Kai's raw vocal sound and so Tyrant Disciple was formed.
After a while own lyrics came along and we started practise our own songs for a couple of months. In summer 2006 we decided to record our own demo which included songs I Break, I Shoot, I Destroy & Solution...? We recorded the demo at our own studio at Kari's homestudio in Jalasjärvi.
In spring 2007 Jarno decided to leave the band. Reason for this was that Jarno was too busy doing work, being a father and running things with his other band Critical Continent. After a while Sami came to an idea to ask his friend Mikko if he could play bass in the band. Mikko first doubted his talents but he wanted to try. After few rehearsals the songs started to roll and Mikko was in the band.
TD recorded their second demo at Drunkhouse studios in summer 2007. The demo was called Fields of Suffering and it was released in spring of 2008. It included 3 songs which are titled Sick World, Disgrateful Death and Fields of Suffering.
The band did their first gig soon after finishing recordings of Fields of Suffering. Gig took its place at Kauhajoen Kasino and TD was opening band for finnish metal band Nicole.
Autumn 2007 went by rehearsing songs and composing new material. Band also did a VIP gig at Sami's birthday party 3.12.2007.
Band did its second official gig at Kipan Kellaripubi. Third official gig was at Mouthbottomrock 2008.
Band also recorded 3 new songs in the end of summer 2008. The 3 songs has been puboished recently in Myspace.
