Tyrha is a singer, songwriter, dancer and actress who steals the show with her classy, crafty style. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Tyrha was the first African-American woman to enter and complete Northwestern University's rigorous musical theatre program. A versatile performer, Tyrha made her Los Angeles Debut with "Don't Bother Me I Can't Cope", and has played such diverse roles as Peter Pan in "Peter Pan", the Arbiter in "Chess" as Reno Sweeney in "Anything Goes". She toured with the highly acclaimed production of "Play On!" which aired on PBS' Great Performances. Other national credits include "Dreamgirls", "the First", "Kiss Me Kate" and "Sophisticated Ladies". Tyrha made her film debut in the Golden Globe and Oscar-nominated film "Mulholland Drive". She has recorded and toured Japan with R&B/Pop group "emanon" and former Temptation Ollie Woodson, recorded with artists Rom and Domino, and toured with Kathy Wade (renowned jazz vocalist) and Valerie Simpson.
