ROBOFLOW FROM OMAHA ON 11.21.07
Tyson is currently performing with over 5 different working live/studio projects:
Pomeroy – (keyboards/guitar) – Pomeroy is an all original recording band who have gained a considerable following in the United States and were recently overseas in the Middle East performing for the U.S. Military troops in Africa, Saudi Arabia, and many more. Pomeroy has consistently toured without a break for over 7 years and are finally taking their first break to complete their upcoming full length album to be released in the Fall.
Pomeroy has toured and performed with countless “headline” names and continue to make and break sales records and attendance records among independent bands. After the release of the new album, Pomeroy expects to hit the road with up to 15 dates (or more) per month to support the new release.
GEAR – Tyson uses Roland, Korg, Nord and Yamaha keyboard and synthesizer instruments on the Pomeroy stage. He also uses Digitech effects processors, Ibanez and Epiphone guitars. Earplugs by M.H.S. (musicians hearing services) – www.pomeroymusic.com, www.myspace.com/pomeroy
90 MINUTES – (bass guitar) – 90 Minutes is a weekly working band who pays tribute to all music from the 90’s decade performing everything from Sister Hazel and Alanis Morissette to Rage Against The Machine and Pantera. 90 Minutes has been the house band at two of K.C.’s most popular locations every Tuesday and Wednesday night and continues to have a full house week after week. 90 Minutes features some of Kansas City’s most popular and recognizable musicians including Go-Go Ray (Billy Goat, Mike Dillon’s Go-Go Jungle), John Pyne (Load Point Pull), Josh Johnson (Ross Christopher & The Familiar Voice) and "the Mole".
See sexy Sara in a GUITAR SOURCE commercial above!
GEAR – Tyson uses Fender, Traben, and Peavey bass guitars, SHS cabinets and Line 6 effects processors with 90 Minutes. Tyson is currently endorsed by Curt Mangan Strings. Earplugs by M.H.S. (musicians hearing services) – www.90minuteslive.com, www.myspace.com/90minutesband
EVERY WEDNESDAY AT JERRY'S BAIT SHOP IN LEE'S SUMMIT, MO!
GOODNIGHT NOBODY – (guitar/keyboards) – Goodnight Nobody is a weekly house band at the popular venue; The Hurricane. Goodnight Nobody plays Thursday nights only and plays some of today’s most powerful rock n’ roll from artists like Velvet Revolver, Muse, White Stripes, Foo Fighters and of course many more. In a short amount of time, Goodnight Nobody went from being virtually “nobody” to being one of the most reputable bands in the Kansas City area through sheer attitude, volume, and word of mouth.
GEAR – Tyson uses Epiphone, Dean, Takamine, and Ibanez guitars, Roland and Nord synthesizers. Curt Mangan strings, and Digitech effects processors on the Goodnight Nobody stage. Earplugs by M.H.S. (musicians hearing services) – www.myspace.com/goodnightnobodyband
BALONEY PONYZ – (keyboards/guitar) – The Baloney Ponyz have been Kansas City’s ONLY true salute to the ‘hair band’ movement of the 80’s and early 90’s. Started by Curtis Anderson, Doug Kenworthy and Tommy St. John, the Ponyz were doing it long before it was “ok” or “cool” to do the 80’s music again. When Nirvana was trampling on bands like Poison and Motley Crue, the Ponyz were selling out clubs all over the city with people who dearly missed the days of Headbanger’s Ball on MTV and 46 cans of Aquanet. The Baloney Ponyz continue to shine and wave the heavy metal flag loudly and proudly.
GEAR – Tyson uses Epiphone, Dean, and Ibanez guitars, Curt Mangan strings, and Digitech effects processors on the Baloney Ponyz stage. Earplugs by M.H.S. (musicians hearing services) – www.myspace.com/baloneyponyz
THE AFFIRMATIVE ACTION TRIO - (Bass Guitar, Keyboards, Vocal) - The A.A.T. was started as a result of having to slim down a band and make a trio work. The concept was essentially like the new JACK FM radio station. "We play what we want." With music ranging from Alice Cooper to Simple Minds to The Beatles and everything in between, the Affirmative Action Trio was seen every Tuesday night at Jerry's Bait Shop for the remainder of 2007 and features Josh Johnson on guitar, and Go-Go Ray on the drums.
LITTLE BIG MAN – (guitar) – Little Big Man was formed in the mid-90’s and became something of a familiar name around mainly musicians and fans of music who didn’t care for the grunge scene going on at the time. LBM was loud, melodic, and stood out drastically during a time when guitar solos were frowned upon and positive music was questionable. The band broke up in ’97 and reformed in 2006 and began recording and performing again.
Little Big Man’s new full length album will be available in the late fall/early winter and will begin a short run tour during the Fall of ’07.
