I was born October 4, 2001 in Los Alamitos, California. From the beginning, I was distinctive among my peers, being the largest of 8 puppies. At six weeks of age I moved out to Huntington Beach. Since my people snowboarded extensively in Mammoth, that 1st winter of my life, I spent many days with Grandma and Grandpa and at 6 months old, they became my official parents. I used to go crazy at the skateboarders that would go by us as we walked on the bike path at the beach. Everyone thought I didn't like them and that I was trying to attack them, barking and pulling with all of my strength. They all thought for sure that I hated skateboards, until at 1 year old, they let me play with a board in our tiny backyard, and I went crazy with it, and with in minutes I showed them that it wasn't that I didn't like the skateboarders, it was that I wanted to be one... Out in front of the house, I improved my skills with the help of a harness and a retractable leash. All I want to do is to skate everyday, and I actually get pouting when I can't skate. Grandma and grandpa say the thing that makes me and my skating so special is the joy apparent as I skillfully maneuver my board as though it is a part of me. I am a skater, who just happens to be a dog. For me, skateboarding is not a trick, but a lifestyle, no treats necessary. I offset my radical side by showing my 7 cats affection, as they adoringly groom me. I have been skating now for about 3.5 years and have been featured in TV shows in Japan, South Korea, Australia and the USA. I have done a TV commercial for Nikon in Japan, been featured at LG's 2004 Action Sport Championships at Pomona, Ca. Tyson skated in the 2005 Sony Picture “Lords of Dogtown” and the Lion’s Gate film “Undiscovered”. I have recently been featured on "American Idol" and MTV's new show "Rob & Big" airing sometime this fall 06. I am truly a dog on the move!
