I listen to any type of music, there are just certain artists/ songs that I don't care for.

I enjoy all genres. Except realistic horror. I prefer the "not actually going to happen to someone" variety (;
Television
I wanted Phineas and Ferb, iCarly!, and pretty much whatever else my kids have on. The only Grown Up shows I make sure to catch are Bones, House, Glee and Dollhouse (:
Books
I like science-fiction, fantasy, "pre-history", children's books, good comic books, and the occasional Romance as long as it actually has a good story line.
Heroes
My mom was always one of my heroes and role models when I was growing up. Now, I'm inclined to say my boys. ((: I love the way they view their world and how they interact with it and each other and am enjoying watching them become their own people.
Things I love: reading, bellydancing, the sound of my boys laughing, drumming, making art, being left handed, my family, dancing, listening to music, my pets, decorating for the holidays, playing Bejeweled Blitz and Lexulous on Facebook, Christmas, going on every day adventures, libraries, crisp winter mornings, the sound of windchimes dancing, taking time to look at the stars, the sound of fallen leaves crunching underfoot, the smell of snow, yummy leftovers, and playing in the SCA.
Things that baffle me: Anyone who can stand to watch Jerry Springer and the rest of the shows glorifying the worst of human behavior, herd mentality, and weather forecasters.
Things that irritate me: Spam, thoughtless actions, bad drivers, rude people, stupidity (in -any- form), bad situations in movies that could have been avoided, whining, anyone being hateful/hurtful/ or just plain unkind to my family or friends, intolerance (in all it's forms), bad spelling and grammar, Christmas merchandise and carols being put up in stores the day after Halloween, liars and cheats, and having cold toes.
Things I want to do: Go to the Jareth Ball. Go on our honeymoon. Watch my boys become the wonderful people I know they will be. Visit Eastern Europe-- Hungary, Romania, Turkey. Laugh with my Grandchildren. See the circus trees. Finish my degree. Go shopping at the Kris Kringle marts with my children. Learn how to play the riq. And continue to enjoy each day with my family, pets and friends (:

I've always been (and remain) an avid reader-- my favorite genres are listed under books and I'm waiting for several writers to get on with it and finish the next book in the series... Jean Auel comes to mind... So if you want to talk about books, please do!
And I am currently a student at Troy University in Troy, Alabama, returning to school to finish my Bachelor's Degrees in Theatre, Art and now Education (: With a minor in Dance. I'm Loving it!!
