But now near the other side of all this, I can see that this was the best thing that could have happened. I am giving myself the time and respect needed to get through these hard times. It makes me very happy to be able to say that I have many people around to help me along my way. My family has never failed to have my back and for that I am thankful. The friends that I thought I had pushed away came right back to my side, for that I am grateful. I look forward to the changes I am about to face. Each new day I live is another block added to the foundation of the better person that had always been inside me. To finally be able to rebuild myself into that person will be the best thing I can ever do. I’m ready for this.
