TzunTzu to-date is comprised of members having fought along side one another in live battle fields in various formations. Material that had been written yet never completed has now been revisited and reformulated, along with new hymns written in time’s of soul seeking.
The first three recorded opus have now been released:
Without Zen demo/ep - 3 main tracks – “Blood Of The Fallen”, “Without Zen” and the haunting “Oni-Kudaki” as well as and introduction and outro peice. co-released with Dissident Records [uk] also includes extensive multi-media and bonus mp3's of fellow lable acts.
Kunoichi MCD - 6 songs including "Shoukai", "Kunoichi", "Gaijin", "NoKata", "The Howling Wind" and "Meinichi" incorporating more traditional oriental sounds and utalising a full line-up. As a bonus - the CD contains a video clip of the track "Gaijin". Co-released by Dissident Records [uk] and distributed in Australia/Asia by Prime Cuts [aus] – a premonition of the ensuing debut full length.
The Assassin Split 7" with Ignivomous (vic) - 2 ambient pieces "Banished" and "Beneath The Shrine" surrounding the main song "The Assassin". Out now via NWN! Productions [usa]
Since taking the steps to form a giging entitiy, TzunTzu has performed live assaults alongside such notable acts as: Defiled [jpn] Denial Of God [den] Behemoth [pol] Dismember [swe] Carcass [uk] Grave [swe] Krisiun [bra] Portal [aus] and Mournful Congregation [Aus].
TzunTzu has completed re-working and recorded an ancient track entitled Komuso from a previous clan for a split 7"/CD with fellow South Australian band Altars to be released by Enucleation Records [USA], and is also nearly completed the writing for the full length debut to be recorded mid to late 2009.

I just wanted to stop by to say hello and give you a little update on what Blood Root Mother is up to! We will be recording an EP of new music in August, and we recently finished recording a live DVD. The DVD is currently unreleased and I actually just saw it for the first time yesterday. It features the last two performances with Tony Ellis still alive, and some footage from the tribute show we played on the night of his funeral.
There are some cool covers, as well as some NEW music that will be on our upcoming EP. We're very excited about the new music and we'd like to share a sneak peak with you. Here's a video of a tune called Run Bobby Run:
