And today’s U2 moment is...Just 20 short years ago I was attending MacMurray College, a tiny, private, liberal arts college that celebrated the human spirit. Every year on April 4th, I had a ritual. Early on that morning, around 7:30am, I would wrestle the gigantic stereo speakers of my college roommate’s stereo into the window and point them towards the heart of the campus. And after maximizing the volume I would play one song and one song only - U2’s Pride, force-feeding the campus my moment of remembrance...and the chorus reverberated across the campus...“Early Morn, April 4, A Shot Rang Out in the Memphis Sky, Free at Last, They Took Your Life, They Could Not Take Your Pride...In the Name of Love...What More In the Name of Love?” By the time the song would fade, I would hear the campus authorities pounding on my door and with GRAND satisfaction I would open the door and SMILE...only in college, only in America...:)

I cant wait to see you guys in 2009!

I hope you guys have an amazing Christmas..Put up some dates(hopefully on Thursdays) when you guys will be playing again..Please? Hope to see you guys real soon..Love you! Melanie

I can't tell you how cool it was to come out and hear you guys on Thursday..I was so happy when I saw all of you I almost cried..You guys would make it a ton easier if ya had a gig every Thursday, so that way I could be a total groupie... Anyways, you guys are awesome and I love you all! Woo!
