I am a web designer.
I started my web company, Ravtech, in 1999. Yes, I was in 8th grade at the time. At the time, it was only consulting, but I was raking in 3 figures an hour. In 8th grade. Bank.
My current development interests are social niche markets: bringing people together in ways people haven't thought of yet.
I have a few musical instruments. Three guitars, two amps, 49 key MIDI controller, and a drum controller. I dabble in trance and rock. When I am feeling hood, I'll bust some rap beats. They are the easiest.
I am a gadget whore. I purchase nearly every new fad that comes out.
I like to play video games. More importantly, since I am a gadget whore, I like to buy video game systems. So I have/have had them all. Yes them all. Except a Colecovision. Didn't feel like buying one of those.
I love the Food Network.
My current project is Ravsonic Studios. It is a blog about tech and the net, like all the other ones you've read, but with my take. The company is much more though. I've got two projects on deck right now. One is a social news alternative with the features you need but don't have. Hopefully, the community doesn't suck huge ass like some of the alternatives out there. The other is an online personal asset/inventory manager. Essentially, it is a way for you to keep track of your shit in case you ever need to file an insurance claim or keep up with who you loaned stuff to. Keep checking back./endnerd
I love good rock music. I actually like any music. My obsessions vary, but they usually come back to Coheed and Cambria, Secret Lives of the Freemasons, Tool/APC, and 30 Seconds to Mars.
