U&A Recordings are a digital firebrand, master-minded by Simon Shackleton (aka Elite Force). The label is dedicated to the all-encompassing sound of Tech-Funk, which simply means House : Electro : Breaks : Techno and all points in between.
Artists appearing regularly on the label include signees Elite Force, Zodiac Cartel, The Loops of Fury, Rektchordz and Mike Hulme. with remix affiliates including some of the coolest stars from the underground firmament.
A mix compilation from U&A Recordings has been on the cards for some time now. With a burgeoning reputation as one of the most exciting, eclectic & visionary labels in the electronic firmament, it was only a matter of time before some of the many highlights from the catalogue to date appeared in time-honoured DJ mix fashion. In keeping with the label's ethos of developing new, young talent, mix duties were handed over to emerging superstars, The Loops of Fury, who have taken some of the finest tracks to appear on the label to date as well as exclusives from The Loops & Zodiac Cartel and dropped the perfect blend of electro-techno, perfectly encapsulating the sound of U&A.
"The Loops of Fury have crafted a mix that not only puts the talent of U&A on display, but it also epitomises the absolute quality that this label outputs from month to month and year to year. An absolute must buy." [InTheMix Magazine]
The compilation is available on CD from our very own brand new online store, and we have deliberately priced these at the lowest end of 'mid-price' we could afford, and have included P+P in the cost so you know there are no hidden extras!! It's not often we make a foray into the world of physical products these days, so please support our efforts and snag a copy today.
The compilation is also available on DIGITAL (exclusive to Beatport until 4th December), again at recession-busting prices, and includes single downloads of the exclusives from Zodiac Cartel & The Loops of Fury.
Thanks very much for adding us :) We hope you like our music as much as we enjoy making it. Check out the 5 minute film of our first live performance, its now on our page. Your thoughts and comments are appreciated. best wishes Simon & Robin
That Hyperion stuff is TOTALLY AMAZING! Definitely on top of my music list as of now. Thanks for the request - I'm an instant fan.
I have something new and exciting of my own which you won't have heard - my first ever official release. I'm extremely excited as I never dreamt I'd be 18 when I got onto iTunes. It's a house remix of "Besame Mucho" by lounge due Worldwide Groove Corporation.
Thanks again for introducing me to some really cool music!
