As an ode to the cultural deluge the UCC Library has besotted upon me, I'd like to leave with one last Shakespeare insult of the day:

"Thou pribbling plume-plucked coxcomb!"

And also, if I ever need help from an online librarian. . .which I most definitely will. . .
I won't hesitate to ask!

The library should subscribe to Mother Jones, for then anybody could read "The Last Empire: Can the world survive China's rush to emulate the American way of life".

Let's support smart, fearless journalism!

"King of Hearts" was great! Very funny and charming. The insane were more sane than the soldiers!

If you can think of any, I would appreciate some movie/book/music recommendations for the upcoming break/free time! I was also wondering if my bookstacking services are still needed in Winter term? I hope so!

Garret admitted that Fahey was an excellent choice for a desert road-trip extravanganza. Kudos to the library for great taste.

Hello there UCC Library building,

Just leaving you a bit of a goodbye because, after today, I won't be seeing you again until next month. But do not despair because my course load for the fall pretty much guarantees that soon enough I'll be seeing you even more than I'll see many of my human friends.

Four reasons why I still visit the UCC library during the summer...

1. (First and foremost) The Battle of Algiers

2. The Last King of Scotland (Forrest Whittaker deserved his Oscar ten-fold for this performance)

3. Salt of the Earth (the only blacklisted film in the US)

4. Reza Aslan's study of Islam, "No god but God".

(Not on the numbered list, but still worthy of mentioning is your air-conditioning.)

Hearing "Heaven" as lifted my spirits for the day: "And the bands in heaven, they play my favorite song."

And now, a quote from my song: "Big Ted's dead. He was a great old pig."
