What We Do
Peer Advising
Peer Advisors help students reach their academic and personal goals. Students have found peer advisors extremely beneficial in helping them overcome personal struggles and gain confidence in their strengths and abilities.
Tutoring
We offer FREE tutoring services in all subjects. All of our tutors are UCLA students who can help with homework as well as develop skills so that students can become academically successful.
Workshops
We also put on student and parent workshops throughout the year. They range from topics such as college readiness to financial aid (for students and parents) and cultural awareness.
Conference and Field Trips
One of our goals is to give students the chance to experience college and other places that can expand their education. We hold two high school conferences at UCLA where we invite our students to the campus and hold different academic, leadership, and cultural workshops.

Who I'd like to meet:
SPACE was established by Samahang Pilipino. SPACE works towards raising matriculation into higher education, self-actualization of consciousness and leadership development. It does this by redeveloping the intellectual capabilities and improving self-esteem of Pilipino students at Belmont High School and Marshall High School. The SPACE project works to strengthen the inner spirit of each student so that they can be active agents in the transformation of themselves and their community.
