York University's United Caribbean Student Association was founded in 1999 by Mieshia Forrester and Ron Legendre.
UCSA is the first and only association created to unite students of Caribbean culture at York University and the surrounding community. What started out as a social club, has now flourished into a club that now seeks to capture and provide opportunities for Caribbean students growth, while giving them a sense of true Caribbean community!
UCSA AIMS
We will provide opportunities for students to share a common interest in Caribbean culture. A forum is provided to those who wish to share and learn about the DIVERSE traditions of these cultures where we can come together and educate each other about what it means to be Caribbean and of Caribbean descent.
UCSA GOAL
We shall undertake social, educational, and service activities that reflect the interests and concerns of the members of the organization.
MEMBERSHIP
Although this student group caters to York University students... anyone in a secondary institution can be a member. So become a member TODAY!
