About me: Want to know something about me? Why not visit my Web site?
If you're too lazy to click on a link, here's the jist:
I'm a big geek. I'm all about computers and computing. It doesn't matter if it's hardware or software, I'm all about it. I'm a big time Linux and Open Source software fan. I have Linux running on all of my home machines except the laptop. Unfortunately the wife won't let me take Windows off of it. I also do database programming in SQL and develop Web sites.
The good thing about being a computer geek is that it makes me money. I co-own a Web hosting company and work as an IT manager overseeing a Linux-based IT department. I have a bit of an entrepreneurial spirit. I'm constantly thinking of new business ideas and hope to one day come up with that one idea that makes me a butt-load of money.
I also like to volunteer my time to worthwhile efforts, trying to give back to the community in the ways that I know how. I provide computer support and Web development for the WHAS Crusade for Children. I'm also part of the PC Gurus, a Web-based computer support group that provides free technical support for people in the Louisville and southern Indiana area.
That's about it. Read my blog if you want to find out more.
Who I'd like to meet: My evil twin. You know, they have that evil goatee and all...
