All my tunes are home recordings using a Roland VS multi-track recorder.
Sounds Like
Trying to be musical like Terry Ted. I missed a few notes here and there but this was my best take that day.
Recorded around 1999.
Tama drums & Octobans.
The china on the left is a UFIP 16" Natural.
The hi hats are UFIP 13" class series.
The crash is a UFIP 16" natural.
The bell is a UFIP ice bell.
At the time i was also using a few cymbals from some "other guys".
Check out Charlie Watts sporting his 18" Natural Series China!
Mick seems to be digging it too!
I am retiring my personal myspace music page featuring: X-Men the musical, Spaceships for Jesus the Space Opera & Music and Murder "part one", in order to totally dedicate this internet space to the art of drumming and the wonderful products by the UFiP Cymbal Company in Italy.
(I'll still keep some of my tunes up for your listening pleasure)
I will not be checking in so often on myspace now so please contact me dirctly at jimbetsios@sbcglobal.net
UFiP- Unione Fabbricanti Italiani Piatti
(Italian: Union of Italian Cymbal Makers) may very well be the best kept secret in the
drumming world... the process in which they are created is very unique, they
named it rotocasting. Check out their web site if you want to fully
understand the process... they are hammered, shaped and then lathed until they sound at their fullest peak
(tuned by ear) following no ones rules but their own.
Just like many Italian products such as clothing and cars, these Italian cymbalsmiths have a certain highly skilled knack for manufacturing a high quality product. UFiP cymbals are of premium quality. UFiP instruments sound extremely robust and have an appearance all their own.
Unlike the mass produced giants of the industry, UFiP cymbals are a limited production product. They endorse no major artists yet these cymbals are owned by professional and major drummers all over the world. UFIP cymbals offer a very unique and complex tone to the drummers arsenal and drummers in the know seek them out for just that.
UFIP is proud to be a small exclusive company producing only the finest cymbals, placing the importance on quality not quantity.

hello! thanks for accepting my friend request! I so far have these UFiP cymbals: 14" Experience Series hats (which I noticed is not even offered anymore??? did they stop making these hats or something?), and a 20" Rough Series ride. Both are absolutely amazing. Question for you, I notice you're a UFiP dealer, do you ship to Alaska?
hey dude, i 've gotten ur messages and i'm terribly sorry for not comming in to pick up that piece. I still do need it! @ my work they fired the director of our department, and we've been slammed with work cause we need to adjust and pick up the slack. IT SUCKS! I"m working seven days this week. But next week goes back to normal, i will most likley be in tuesday to pick it up, have an audition w/ some band from northbrook, they say they despretley need a drummer, but we'll see what happens. Any who, again, really sorry, i'll be there in a few days. If you need me to chip extra or something for it, not a problem, just let me know, any ways, hope things are good. I'll talk to ya later
