Before this comic strip I did one called "The Adventures of Scanner Dweeb" which was published in Popular Communications Magazine, monthly for 6 years (2000-2006).

A bit about me: I was born in Melrose Park IL, but I now live in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

I was interested in space and space related material starting at a very young age. Paranormal activity and UFOs were among those interests. I collected space models and books over the years. Witnessing the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo missions was a treat. My family and I gathered in the backyard of our Illinois home to watch the sputnik satellite travel overhead in the early days.

I joined the United States Air Force in 1974. I served as an AF Security Police Officer (Law Enforcement) from 1974-1977.

I became a civilian Government employee in 1979 moving to Colorado Springs, CO in 1993, taking a job with Air Force Space Command, where I still work.

I enjoy other hobbies besides UFOs and the paranormal, including hiking, and photography.

I started a news website (News Blab) in 2001 which was on-line for over 6 years. I was the main investigative reporter/blogger on the website. My blogs had attained a daily readership of approximately 3000 (daily readers). I've been responsible for many exclusive and breaking news stories, outdoing and scooping mainstream media outlets at times.

In 2005 the Colorado Springs Gazette newspaper awarded me and my News Blab blog, Best of the Springs, as the best blog in the City for that year.

For a short while I was a special radio correspondent for a San Francisco based station during the Michael Jackson trial, and I have been a guest speaker on a number of radio talk shows in Colorado Springs.

My interest in UFOs and paranormal activity was once again sparked in 2003 and I became a UFO Geek, visiting the UFO Watchtower in Hooper, CO and the town of Roswell, NM that year. In July 2007 I went to the 60th Anniversary of the Roswell UFO crash and had a great time!

I entered the Colorado Springs election race in 2007, running for the office of City Mayor. Although I did not win the election, I did receive 8432 votes.

Being interested in electronics at an early age I took up collecting Radio Shack catalogs. I now have each of their catalogs from 1960 through 2002, when they stopped printing them. That's 43 straight years of Radio Shack catalogs.

I guess that makes me an Electronics Geek too!
