    Hey,
Cheers for checking out my tracks.
    Your songs are very good.
Played in a heavy band for years, really like that style. The drummer from Toy Soldier plays in a band with me occasionally, small world!
Don't do remixing at the moment, with work and my own material, hard to find time. My cousin Ciaran O Shea is a producer, does Echogram, Toy Soldier, most bands in Cork, would be a good person to hook-up with. He's in my top friends. Best of luck with the band.

Bio:

Ugly Beautiful are an alternative rock band formed in 2007 who offer something different. The band share a mutual drive to create, explore and develop a new sound. Their music is filled with contrasts - driving rhythms and sweeping melodies pitted against raw edgy sounds.

Their debut album Paradise has been well received since its release - Cormac Battle (2fm) describing the opening track Weekend as "Brilliant!". This album soars at high volumes and demands multiple listens - drawing you into layers of texture and sound. It has received both local and national airplay as well as television airplay and a debut single is planned for autumn 2010.

The diversity of heavy and ambient sounds comes from a broad range of influences - from Sigur Ros to the Queens Of The Stone Age.

'Paradise' and 'The Satellite Escape EP' are available for download on all good online stores.

Cds are available at all gigs

After much anticipation hotly-tipped Cork trio Ugly Beautiful unveiled their debut single Hundred to One on Oct 15. From their acclaimed nine-track debut album Paradise, Hundred to One is a “ splintered shaft to the heart” and is driven by “ ace guitars and stop-start passages raising the tension” . Lauded as simply “ Brilliant” by 2FM’ s Cormac Battle, for Ugly Beautiful this is just the beginning. Since the release of Paradise, which is dominated by their guitar-driven experimental sounds, Ugly Beautiful has played the length and breath of the country appearing in venues like Whelans Dublin, Cyprus Avenue Cork, De Barra's Clonakilty, Bakers Place Limerick, The Crane Lane Theatre Cork, Twisted Pepper Dublin and also recently played Indiependence Festival 2010. To their credit they have also shared the stage with Villagers and The Maccabees. Ugly Beautiful has already garnered some notable acclaim receiving a substantial amount of airplay to date. Ugly Beautiful came about when lead singer Kieran returned from his travels with a raft of tunes he penned at various bus stops, beach huts and hostels around the globe. Satellite Escape, a garage rock group was initially formed. Following an EP release the group evolved and became what we now know as Ugly Beautiful. With Mick Gallagher on bass and recently joined by Colin Kirwan on sticks, Ugly Beautiful are set to get back on the road again to flaunt their “ versatile album that occupies a headspace somewhere between the Pixies and Pearl Jam” .
