Chaz - Charlotte plays guitar, shredding out some funky riffs when needed and occasionally goes for the bass. Also being a meistro at the violin (and most other instruments!), she can churn you out some catchy Irish tunes! Getting up before sunrise every morning before school, she makes us wonder about her sanity by cycling 8 miles at sunrise and still managing to stay awake for the rest of the day. She's also the mathematician of the group, studying Maths, further maths, Physics and German for A level. Sarah - Sarah plays Keyboards (would rather have a portable piano), Bass and vocals. She tap dances and spends unhealthy amounts of time under and behind the stage at the theatre. Can play drums and guitar for money. Sarah's the arty farter of the group studying English lit, Music, Art and Classics for A Level. Alex - Alex plays drums and percussion. Being a big fan of Metallica, he'd be straight on the double pedal if we'd let him! He's a technical genius and he sorts us all out with proper words for things instead of 'the rinky dinky machine' and 'windey binder.' Listening to heavy metal in his free time, he also enjoys a bit of the blues.
Influences
We like to think that we are influenced by no one as all of our music is completley our own stuff. But every song writer hads bands they like - so do we, meaning we must have got an influence from somewhere. But we are influenced by the great musicians of all time, like Hendrix, Rory Gallahger, and anyone who weve seen live or listened to; they have made us aspire to become great musicians ourselves.
Sounds Like
Thats not for us to decide, its for everyone else. But basically something out of this world!

OUR VIDEO FROM OXJAM LOUTH 2007 LIVE!!!
Delusion means “something that isn’t quite as it seems," which is true for us. We mash a million genres together until we get our own unique sound. Our combined age is 48, we come from Caistor and all agree Wednesdays are our favourite day of the week because we have band practise after school at Charlotte's! Chocolate fingers, Ben and Jerry's ice cream and innocent smoothies are the best form of pay for us, as we get through a lot of all three!! We mainly play powerful instrumentals, leaving the music to tell the story. Our main inspirations are space, ridiculous weather conditions, and each other's silly accidents - e.g. - When Alex broke the barometer. So if you want to hear the new sound - look out for us.

No prob! It was our pleasure and we were dead proud of you all, especially as it was your first gig. Also very grateful for all the support you have had from your (chaz's)family. Please say thanks again to them. Keep music live :-)!!! xx
This is coming straight back at you with a KLOUT! What a fantastic event OXJAM Louth was. You too put on a blinding set and we too enjoyed watching you play. It was great to meet you all, as it was all the bands that played. Keep on rocking ukdelusion! Klout!
I have three pictures which are courtesy of Tim Leaning (he commented the blog) which are quite cool, thought they could be uploaded to one of the oxjam albums :] I'm a complete tool and I left your email address on the back of Never mind the Barometer or something stupid :/ Would you be able to tell me AGAIN (I'm highly unorganised) so I can upload the pictures?
Congratulations on a great first gig. Really liked the way you varied your songs to get contrast within the set. Is Alex going to do any drums in the future, as well as congas? The congas sound good but I have heard him play drums and he is really good on those, too. It would show your versatility, even more. Brilliant gig, folks, dead proud of you! x
