Years ago, Joe would perform original tunes on his ukulele at a small bar with a house band (Tim on bass) backing him up. Joe had a Big Dream of a ukulele band, but was usually stuck in the backline as a drummer. As fate would have it, Joe was hired, as a drummer, to play with a local band, where he met Jason and Dave. The ukulele was a great way to pass the time and either make others laugh, or drive them crazy. Many hours of ukulele madness were spent in the van and hotel rooms. In 2006, the Northern Califonia ukulele band, Ukesperience, was formed. Approximately one year later, the group received an endorsement by Pono 'ukuleles in Wahiawa, Hawai'i. Around the same time, Tim created a bass uke and lapsteel uke in his garage, taking the ukulele to another level. In 2008, Ukesperience was invited to perform twice at the 8th Annual Waikoloa Ukulele Festival. A primo blend of folk, rock, and island vibes, their music is appealing to all ages. From local coffeeshops, to private parties, weddings, summer festivals, and everything in between, the group's warm sound will make your hips sway. Ukesperience is available for any occassion, not just luau's.

Have you guys heard of a song called Little Brown Gal? It's an old Hawaiian song. I know the daughter of the guy who wrote it. She still gets royalties from it. I just don't know that I've ever heard it before. thought you guys would know it.
