Dan Jones is a London based DJ and producer releasing music on Minimal Kidz Records (London & Berlin) and Polished Audio (Germany). Djing and producing under the name Formless, he has been rocking clubs around London, the UK and San Francisco with a blend of forward thinking house and techno for the past 10 years. With his extensive contacts database and business acumen (developed during 4 years as CEO of Richmond Chamber of Commerce), Dan is always looking for new challenges and projects to invest his energies into.
He has been creating a buzz with his unique,
energetic, upfront sound at respected venues like The Cross, Turnmills, Pacha, The Key, Scala, The Island and festivals including Glastonbury, The Glade, Secret Garden Party, Day of Hugs, Norgstock and Manifest. His brisk ascent through the DJ
ranks came on the back of a number of DJ mix competition wins and
playing a live set on MoS Radio. This gave the exposure needed to push his
sound onto bigger dancefloors around the world.
With planned projects in San Francisco, LA, Brazil, Sydney, Brisbane and the Ukraine on the horizon, time in the studio working on new material and remixes, the future looks bright for one of djing's freshest talents. On top of DJ and production commitments Dan launched his own night Flytrap in 2007 and has already hosted rooms at The Cross, Pacha, Scala and The Island. He still finds time every summer to co-ordinate the music for the Norgstock
Festival (nr. Stonehenge) and run his own Day of Hugs annual 24 hour Manor Party (nr. Bournemouth).
