Let's see, there is just sooo much. I have been around for over a century....like 1857. :) We used to be a log cabin and blacksmiths...ohhh the good ole' days. I can't believe I ever let them paint me mustard yellow, green, and with soft green tile. whew...Years and years later I finally bumped into the migration of modern design. In 1965, I got freeway and proliferation of outlying shopping centers. :) Gotta Love Those Changes...
Now, I just like to go around the new facades and paint and landscaping....catching some good sushi at Oco Time and It's Time...haha well, eating it ;P , enjoying the "Coffee Critic" Oprah's top ten favorite coffee makers, going and picking up some of those "every popular" tube leggings from Liv, all the new releases at Mendocino Book Store, volunteering for the Ukiah Main Street Program, finding great gag gifts and costumes from Incognito, getting a fresh danish and cup-a-joe from Schat's Bakery, picking up my little brother's first real work suit from MacNab's Men's Ware, relaxing with the "boss lady" from Mendocino Bounty...I just love the way it looks on me, shooting pool at "Rack em Up", smelling the flowers at Rainforest Fantasy,
I would love to talk to some interesting people that are interested in checking out downtown Ukiah. There is stuff to do here...shows to watch, places to shop, and good grub to intake!! :) haha

speaking of hoping on the bus gus. did you know the city took out a bunch of parking meters? more free parking. somehow the rumor mill is circulating that they added more. but i don't see them. this whole parking issue is totally confusing. we need an awareness campaign......
I have accepted the challenge and am participating in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.
Did you know that every three minutes, another woman in the United States is diagnosed with breast cancer? I didn't, and I was shocked to learn how prevalent this horrible disease has become in this country.
I am eager to get started with my fundraising and I need your support! I have pledged to raise money for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer as part of my participation in the walk. Your contribution will help to support medical research into the possible causes of and cure for breast cancer, education and early detection programs, and clinical care and support services for women with breast cancer in communities across the country. There is a special focus on helping medically underserved women, the poor, minorities, the elderly, or those with inadequate health insurance. And much of the money granted by the Foundation goes back to the communities where it was raised, supporting everything from local grassroots programs to national organizations.
It is faster and easier than ever to support this great cause - you can make a donation online by simply clicking on the link at the bottom of this message. Whatever you can give will help! I truly appreciate your support and will keep you posted on my progress.
Thank you for your support; you really do make a difference.
Thanks for being friends! it's good to know more folks from Ukiah, I don't know how our stuff got up to you fellers up there but there seems be quite a few of you. I suppose we'll just have to get up there soon! Peace, and have a great Halloween, The Stone Foxes
