We are Legacy and welcome to our little myspace page.
If you've not come across us before, we are a band of 3 guys and 1 girl and we do acoustic traditional music blended with improvisation and influences from more contemporary music styles. It's hard to explain so check out the tracks and listen for yourself.
We got together in 1997 and worked our way around the folk club/festival scene and toured Ireland & Europe. We cut some albums, had a lot of fun and drank a huge amount of Guinness.
These days we are kinda quiet although we did just recently reform for a weekend in Ireland to discus some ideas for the future. Problem is, half of the band now live in the west of Ireland and the other half remain on the south coast of England which makes getting together tricky. However, Legacy remains able and we hope to visit the studio sometime in 2007.
