Influences?!?!?!?!?!?!......Oh boy well let the music tell you n spot them out! Well we have different styles in each of us as we grew up listen to genres like heavy metal, punk, RnB, soul, jazz, hip hop, garage, deep house, drum n bass, punk, emo, indie and many more!
From largely across the north of England come one of the most exciting prospects to emerge on the British music scene in a number of years. These are kids with something to prove and little opportunity of a second chance. Discarded by mainstream education for a variety of serious academic difficulties, these 6 unique individuals met at college, their own last chance saloon; forming a bond that lead them to perform together.
The band comprises drummer Jake Newton, bassist Jason Samuels, and Craig Harrison lead guitar, providing thumping, muscular rhythms topped by driving, searing and sometimes scattered riffs, fronting the line-up are rapper Matty Harris, female vocalist Jessica Samuels, and male vocalist Elliot Perrin, who offer an atmospheric and dizzying array of intertwining harmonies that belay their 17 years of age and confound their track records.
There are thousands of kids out there across the UK struggling with the same difficulties and here is a band with the ability to sing out to the modern day phenomenon of a suppressed, dispossessed and disregarded Ritalin generation and say what needs to be said. Its a well known fact that kids love bands that they can identify with and this is one of them.
Icons of, and for the lost generation, with a cross-cultural appeal unseen in the British guitar music since the two-tone movement. This is a band of classic dropouts in the modern day sense. Contradiction? Have you heard the tracks? The contradiction is right there my friend, they shouldnt be able to do this at their age or with their dispositions.
Its hard not to fall for a band with such a great story to tell. A band that shines with such potent enthusiasm and head turning delivery. Just listen and see if you get sucked in. Already gathering news and radio coverage across the north and rapidly spreading south , this lot are a cert. Its time to strike while the iron is hot, be impulsive and get them now before word spreads.
The sense of urgency involved is genuine, its a now or never, one time opportunity, these kids are the real deal, forget busted and thats what I go to school for, this talented sextuplet dont go to school and have no where else to go but search for there star ascendant. Thats why they will accept...
