Pride was set up in sept 2005, this was after me an Ian ad spent so many nights, goin home moanin bout how useless certain dj's are, an the fact that we never seemed 2 get a break, so we decided 2 do it ourselves. We got the idea for doin an Old Skool night, from Paul Taylor an the rest of the guys from Retro! (summer 2005 in magaluf, respect) but we decided 2 throw Funky House into the mix 2, and later we added Electro and now Baseline house to the equation, so it wouldn't go stale. Pride is held, the 1st sat of every month, at Rockshot's (formally known as Marsden's Bar) in sunny Chesterfield, This is now our second home, after our original venue, The Green Room was closed down in March 2008. The opening time's are 9pm-3am, an its only £3 on the door. We do have regular guests on, but we operate a strict music policy, its not about the dj's ego, its about the quality of the night! New project sounds good mate, I trialed a live feed on here throu my page managed to get around 12 listeners all at once HAHA not bad from all my 600 odd 'friends'
