Toby Carter songwriting genius, Jolyon Gray odd instrumentals, Warren Stephen wrote "Cabin In The Woods", Colin Barber provided a few song titles. and we stole a couple of ideas from Neil Young.
Formed in London in 2004 when I started writing songs and old friend Toby Carter helped out on some recordings. Australian lap steel wiz Jolyon Gray soon joined and we lived the band-dream for a while gigging and recording. We released our debut album "House" in 2005, but by then Jo had already buzzed back to Oz where i joined him for a little tour and a lot of flat-whites.
We couldn't replace Jo and then Tobe had a kid and quit but hitBACK records had offered to release an album if we ever got our act together so I started some home recording and by the miracle of the www and child care, Toby, Jo and I finished a second album "Psychogeography" released in Oct '07.
With the excitement of having a CD in the shops i thought I'd have another crack at the band dream with new friends I've met along the way and gigged through most of 2008. But I also took up the drums and joined a choir, not that kind of choir, a "cool" choir.
Left the choir, I wasnt cool enough. But havent returned to UK States either - I think thats over, but if you ever hear walk passed a bar and hear some slightly sloppy drumming out there, that could be me! come in and say hello. and how much you loved UK States!!!!

Its just a painting I did of my hand, but I'll go along with any symbolism anyone wants to add, bare feet on a zebra crossing = naked hand on piano keys, my fathers name was Paul and this was his flat and his piano, "maybe my unconscious mind has been up to tricks again" (said in Austrian accent)...spooky!
