Originally formed in 1998 Vendetta are a 5-piece from Peterborough, England mixing up metal, rap and hardcore influences into a brutal no-nonsense sound that brings to mind elements of Biohazard and Hatebreed.
After years spent rehearsing and playing as many shows as they could, Vendetta solidified into the current line-up three years ago. With a tighter sound and the right personnel now in place they started playing nationwide and recorded and self-released their debut EP to great response.
Vendetta's fearsome live reputation led to a two week UK tour with Hed (p.e.) in September 2007, which did much to widen their audience and improve their live chops further. Combining ferocious riffs and deep grooves with a distinctive rapid fire vocal style and unmistakable English attitude that seperates Vendetta from the pack, Vendetta's punishing live show has to be experienced to be believed.
Vendetta recently completed their first three week tour of the US in June 2008 with rap metal crossover legends Stuck Mojo. This gave the band the opportunity to take their sound overseas for the first time, gaining lots of new fans along the way. Having also smashed stages with the likes of Skindred, Panic Cell and Terror, Vendetta are now a force to be reckoned with and are looking for the right place to record their debut album.
