U.K. INDEPENDENT VERT SERIES's Blurbs

About me:
Hopefully this will keep people updated on the UK Independent vert series that is going on. The whole deal is to run a series of vert comps, A & B group, so that the end of the year someone gets to say they are the UK VERT CHAMPION.
In 2007 Paul Luc Ronchetti was the overall A Group champ & Jacob Anderson the B Group champion. This year should see a big change in the results as the cream of 2007's B Group move up to the A Group division.
IT'S GOING TO BE A GREAT YEAR FOR VERT IN THE UK.....

HOW IT ALL STARTED... The idea came about as a natural progression. Vert skaters have been doing there own thing for years, (Away from the big sponsership deal). Trawler has been running his Vert Jam in Mount Hawke, Cornwall. Wingy & John have been running the Seaside Special at Blackpool with the help of Big Woody. Jim has been runnning Blockless at Epic skatepark, Birmingham. Each comp was just a fun event to get skaters together and to get more kids into riding vert. Now the comps are strung together so you can get a UK ranking.

I have grazed knees and elbows, bruised ankles, a dead leg, and sore leg muscles... Must have been fun! Can't wait till next year!? Got a small group pic of the B group who ever was left at the end who I managed to grab! :D
