The U-Liners are a roots rock/americana group from the Washington, D.C. area who perform regularly at a variety of venues. The U-Liners' repertoire ranges across the spectrum of American music and because of this, they have been asked to perform at a variety of venues in the D.C. area including the Birchmere, the Iota, and Jammin' Java. The group has also been active in politics in the area, esp. the labor movement, and have performed at labor events in Washington, D.C., New York City, and Las Vegas and at environmental events in New York City and at Yale University. The U-Liners have performed with Pete Seeger, Tom Morello, Lester Chambers, Jill Sobule, Sara Lee Guthrie and Johnny Irion, and Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer to name a few. The members of the U-Liners are all proud members of the AFL-CIO's federation of musicians. The band will be releasing their first cd later this year.
