For the fourth year, Unilever is sponsoring the Ultimate Chargers program. In partnership with Evernham Motorsports, Ultimate Chargers is competing in the 2007 NASCAR Busch Series. This year’s driver lineup includes newcomer Elliott Sadler joining Scott Riggs and primary driver Kasey Kahne on the 23-race “Trackin’ the Action” behind the No. 9 Ultimate Chargers Dodge.

The Ultimate Chargers is backed by nine Unilever brands to create a strategic multibrand sponsorship program that industry experts have referred to as the “next generation” of sports marketing programs, generating an impressive 5:1 ROI for sponsoring brands.

Under terms of the agreement, the Ultimate Chargers NASCAR Busch Series team will feature newcomer Klondike® ice cream and eight returning Unilever brands: Ragu® pasta sauce, Hellmann’s® mayonnaise, Shedd’s Spread Country Crock ®, Lawry’s® seasoning/ spice blends and marinades, Lipton® tea, Wisk® laundry detergent, Wish- Bone® salad dressings, and Slim-Fast® weight control products.
