In our first year, we grew from a group of 20, to over 400 in just a few weeks. We now celebrate Texas Tech football with hundreds, and occasionally over a thousand of fans each week. As we grow, we are expanding and upgrading our events with help from your donations. Improvements for the 2008 season are underway and will blow you away. Some will be revealed at the Red & Black game.

In addition to smoking and grilling great food, we also build custom smoker trailers, advise on ways to improve your tailgate, and give tips on how to prepare your own barbeque.

We have an HD bigscreen will be at each tailgate depending on the weather.
2008 tailgates are listed below. Times shown are gametimes. The tailgates start by 8AM and end 1 hour prior to gametime. Some tailgate will resume after the game is over. Gametimes subject to change.
For the 2008 Season, we will be at 4th & University - directly infront of Hastings. We ask for a $15 donation per person for food and beer. All donations go directly to renewing and improving our tailgate.
Started in 2006 by a group of graduates of Texas Tech University, Ultimate Tailgaters prides themselves on creating an exciting gameday atmosphere with great entertainment, good music, and top notch food. The tailgates, which are funded by donations, are open to anyone who would like to experience the ultimate tailgating experience. Whether it's watching the game of the week on our big screen, snacking down on our fan favorite sticky ribs, or just hanging out with a few cold ones, we encourage you to stop by and see one of the largest and loudest tailgates at Texas Tech University.
