The self-administered treatment offered by UltraBright provides the same type of results that you would expect from a dentist, but at a fraction of the cost and time. The treatment utilizes proven methods that produce results and minimize the inconveniences normally associated with whitening treatments.
The system utilizes two basic components that work together to produce immediate, effective results. First, a unique FDA Approved gel containing carbamide peroxide is applied to your teeth through a tray applicator. The gel is specially engineered to provide safe, effective results without the discomfort that normally accompanies peroxide-based gels.
Then, our unique LED Light is used as an activating agent to produce immediate results. The carbamide peroxide in the gel responds to the wavelength of the LED light and is broken down into water and radical hydroxyl ions that enter the tooth enamel to break apart extrinsic (external) and intrinsic (internal) stains. The tooth becomes whiter and stains are removed, but the structure of the tooth is not changed.
How it works......
The UltraBright treatment is a proven method of whitening that uniquely incorporates the necessary whitening agents. The treatment does not harm tooth enamel, gums, or other soft tissues.
Pressure
The tray applicator applies the gel, but also provides enough pressure to keep the gel applied to the teeth throughout the treatment.
Heat
The combination of the gel, the light, and the temperature of the mouth all work together to maximize the effectiveness of the peroxide in the gel. The heat intensifies the creation of the hydroxyl ions that work to break apart the stains.
Exposure,
The longer you expose your teeth to the combination of pressure, heat, light, and peroxide, the whiter your teeth become. However, the unique combination of these elements in the Touch of White treatment provides dramatic results in just 20 minutes.
