I don't have cable... It completely sucks hours of my life away from me, so I chose not to have cable in my home about 6-7 years ago. My brain turns to mush everytime I get sucked into the stupid reality tv that comes on.
I do like a few shows that i have been able to catch online or through box sets. Those are Lost, Supernatural, and of course Buffy.
Books
The only thing I read anymore are graphic novels. I LOVE Preacher... no comparison, hands down best over thus far.
Heroes
My mother, my later grandmother, Hazel, and my paternal grandmother, Ruth - all amazingly strong women, who I wish I could be more like. I have many other strong women in my life; friends and family. My father is definitely a hero... he struggled so much to try to give his family everything that we needed... I never realized how strong he was until I grew up and had to start taking care of myself!
