About Us
Ultravox.org.uk is the official Ultravox website, run by Cerise Reed (that's me) and Robin Harris, still known as Extreme Voice or EV after the fanzine which started it all.
When our 'EV' fanzines first started out in 1984 with the first issue being printed in early 1986, it was a small, photocopied affair for the price of three stamps! Over the years it became a professionally printed Official Ultravox Fanzine with exclusive interviews and photos of the band, and in 1996 we launched this website. We finally wound the fanzine down in 2000 at its celebratory 20th issue, deciding that it was a good time to move entirely to the web. You can read the official Ultravox fanzine here, all 20 issues in PDF format, which should answer many of your Ultravox-related questions (and maybe even tell you a few things you didn't know!). The early ones were a little rough around the edges, so start at issue 20 and work your way back. Enjoy!
The site also features a wealth of press cuttings, photos, lyrics, shop, a history of Ultravox written by Warren Cann, an annual covers competition and an area to contact Ultravox directly.
As a winter present for everyone, I'm offering a free novella on my website. Please check it out!
A HAPPILY EVER AFTER OF HER OWN
Melinda Lightfoot, a preschool teacher with an unusual ability to flit in and out of fairy tales, never thought she would get into trouble...
...until the Fairy Tale Police arrest her while she is in Beauty and the Beast. They offer her a deal: Find Beauty, who left the story when Melinda trespassed into it, or be charged with the ultimate crime -- Fairy Tale Killer. If that's not bad enough the Beast tags along in search of his true love, and Melinda starts falling for the fairy tale prince. She must choose between doing the right thing and having her own happily ever after.
Dear friends! We are happy to see a good year go towards a good end. Again we will be playing our Christmas Show in the Moscow Megasphere - and that really makes us happy. The Moscow crowd is one of the best in the world and we would love to have you all with is. It's gonna be one hell of a rock party! Our website has undergone major updates at the moment, but it's back and we highly recomment that you pick up your free Single and DVD "Chase the Dragon" and tell us what you think. In the meantime Rozencrantz is back in the studio, working on brand new material. As always, we will keep you updated. Best regards, Horatio
Hi Ultravox.org.uk, thanks for continuing to be a friend of Electroflex.
Some important news!
Electroflex have been back in the studio following a break from gigging and recording with new track ‘Computer Virus’.
This is the first of a series of new releases for 2009, and what better day to start on than Liz’s Birthday!
‘Computer Virus’ is a live favourite. Anyone forced to work with computers will know how evil they are and this track is Electroflex’s response to Kraftwerk’s ‘Its More Fun to Compute’. It is a bouncy number with a serious bassline, sing-along chorus and a selection of curious samples.
The track will only be up on Myspace in full for a short time. Alternatively, visit us on: Facebook - www.facebook.com/pages/Electroflex/36946086635 iLike - www.ilike.com/artist/Electroflex

Thanx for the add....hope you liked our stuff. We were pretty much into Ultravox in the late 70's and 80's... Keep up the good work Cerise. Cheers from France, olY @ VM
Saw the guys in Sheffield last week and thought it was an awsome night. I cant even find the words to say how good it was. They still have that old magic, even after all those years away.
Manchester was brilliant. A dream gig come true but... the security were complete militant twats! I was 5th row and the second my camera reached my eye to get some pics and video clips they were on me like flies on sh*te. They camped out in front of us the whole night, scanning the crowd for us criminals that wanted a momento from the evening, saying things like "pounce 'em" and using their security earplugs and mics as if they were in an episode of 24. It was distracting and ruined the vibe of the entire night. Other than that Midge, Billy, Warren and Chris were in top form. I hope they do an album for 2010, which isn't too far feched according to the excellent program. scorbie
Went to Manchester gig - brilliant! Hope everyone enjoyed it. If you haven't seen the links to my pics and videos on the forum, I've posted them in my myspace blog!!!
