Love it or hate it, politics has great impact over who we are as Americans and what we aspire to be. Politics has a tremendous impact on the future of every American -- and it has never been more important than today.

• We believe that every American ought to have equality of opportunity in securing the American Dream. Democrats have a long and strong record of promoting opportunity for everyone by supporting public schools, strengthening federal education aid so everyone can go to college, and expanding access to health care.

• We believe that America ought to be a nation of fairness and equality for everyone-- a nation where everyone feels comfortable living, working, and raising a family. Democrats have a long and strong record of promoting fairness and equality for all Americans, regardless of race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation.

• We believe that every worker ought to get a fair shake in our economy. Democrats have a long and strong record of defending organized labor and supporting government programs to help society's most vulnerable.

• We believe that every American ought to be able to breathe clean air, and drink healthy water. Democrats have a long and strong record of protecting our environment and making sure the costs of our actions are accounted for.

• We believe that America ought to work hard to promote a positive American image to the rest of the world. Democrats have a long and strong record of reaching out to the rest of the world- we welcome our membership in the international community and can lead it responsibly.

i should be. it might be a bit slow going at first because i'm still doing that internship, and that's going to get more intense thru sept. but after that it's just the usual game crazy/flint journal/working for bands stuff, with maybe some mtimes thrown in for good measure. so yes, in other words.

Hi! How was the protest? Has the next meeting been scheduled yet? I didn't hear about one for today, and I didn't think we were having one next week because of exams. Just wondering! =)

It is Wednesday, December 6th, at about 2:15-2:20.
Fridays are kind of bad meeting days- no one wants to stay at school at the beginning of the weekend.
