On the left...a dear friend from Gumi...Ciaran Garry, an Irishman through and through, died recently from a second bout with cancer...he passed at the tender age of 28. He was actually the very first person from Korea that ever contacted us, and he was, a true friend while we were in Gumi. The good ones are always taken from us before their time. YNWA Ciaran, we'll tip a pint again one day mate!

About me: For my old friends who have reconnected with recently...and some of the new friends I've made...my outlook and theme for the future is "new beginnings." I'm no longer the same guy that some of you knew from college...but in some other ways I haven't changed a bit. I've been in Korea for almost three years now and really don't have any intention of returning home in the near future...there are opportunities and experiences here in Asia that I'd never have had if I stayed home in Maine. I'm a teacher by training and trade but I learn new things about myself and others everyday. I love a good party, but I also value a good night at home cooking a nice meal and watching a good flick. The question is...where do we go from here?
hey YOU!!! what have you been up to? I havent talked to you in a while!!! hope all is well with you!! you better be taking care of yourself... coming to Maine anytime soon for a visit??

I think I kissed you back!!! my computer is dumb this morning!! thanks for that!! i needed it!! I have been having a rough few months. stress has caused me to lose 15 pounds. (not complaining about the weight loss though).. almost left my husband and blah blah blah ... just not a good situation.. thanks for the smile... somedays I smile and there is just nothing to smile about.. today, it was genuine... i can think of the fun we used to have.. thanks tony!! i truly miss you!!!
Hey Tony!!!!!!! geez my long lost cousin! haha How are you and Katie doing over there?? It's awesome what you guys do and how you dedicate your time over there! When the heck are you coming home again?? 2009 is what your info says... is that true?! Well anyways, I bet you are feeling old cause your baby baby cousin is a JUNIOR in college now :D Still going for occupational therapy! Not much else is new. Still in PA, home maybe 2 months out of the year lol. Nicholas has graduated from college and is going for his MBA at UMaine. I think that is all the update I can think of at 12:30 in the morning lol but seriously keep in touch and I can't wait to hear from you guys!!! Stay safe over there and come back to visit soon!
