I like working on anything creative. I wrote two books of poetry, started a basketball organization, invented a board game (Mecca to Medina - www.muslimgames.com), and I'm currently in the process of trying to produce my next board game (haven't been able to find a company that a less than 5000 games - minimum)

Heroes
The greatest man to walk on this earth, Prophet Muhammad (saw). The way he made dawah really inspired me. He understood who he was making dawah to and was both creative and strategic in the way he dealt with people. For example, he was patient with the old lady that use to drop her trash in front of his house while his dawah with the wrestler he beat 3 times to prove he was the Prophet (saw) was a completely different method. With each project, I try to analyze what the people are into and what is the best way to connect with them. For example, my games are made to connect to a specific audience while the Reminder series is made to connect to another type of audience

On June 13th 2006, The Reminder series started and the production of 10 videos in 10 week was promised and fulfilled. Following the success of the 1st season, I completed 8 more videos for Season 2 and the audience has reached over 3.5 viewers on YouTube alone. In Feb 2008, I promised 8 videos in 8 weeks for the new "Ask Baba Ali" series and so far a new video has been released (as promised) each Friday. I often get asked the question "so what's next?" And my answer is...
A Movie
Yeah, a real movie InshAllah. By now, my viewers have a good sense of my work ethic, the ideas I carry, and my sense of humor. All I have had at my disposal is my a camera, a few lights, and a chair and most of you have seen the impact Alhamdulillah. Now my goal is to put a Dream Team together and spearhead this film project to come out with a professional film. We can either continue to protest and sign petitions about the way Muslims are portrayed in films or we can pick up a camera and make films. Most of us can't afford making a film on our own but as a collective whole, I believe we can raise the money if we work together. All we can do is put in the effort and the rest is Allah (swt) hands. That is been what I have repeated many times for all my past projects and what I am repeating again for this project. If you want to be part of this effort, let's make it happen!

More than a comment, think I'd like to share a dua for my brother in Al-Islam (not the most conventional sort of comment I know)...But it's what I wish for every human being (Including myself ofcourse !! hehe :)
I pray Allah keeps his servants guided and protected from the evils of shaytan. May we all go through life with enough strength (so that we are able to face any hardship with ease). May we be blessed with enough knowledge (so that we can carryout the best actions with the purest of all intentions). May we all be blessed with the best of health and wisdom (so that we may worship Him in the best possible way). May we all be provided with unity (amongst one another and our families), so that we can remain together in the next world Inshallah. Finally when this life is over, may we be of those that Allah is most pleased to see (because our greatest desire was to meet and return to our Lord)...AMEEN

Such a beautiful Ayah Mashallah, Our shawdows follow us most of the time but when we are too arrogant to pray, the same shadow that follows us around all the time (goes against us) and prostrates it's self to Allah..Even if we don't........Allah has truly given us clear signs and may we take heed to all the signs around us Inshallah.
