Dawn Nicole	Feb 24 2008 6:41 PM Quiet day at the store...was checking work email and decided to play a little. How is Atlanta? Warm??? Sigh. It's a beautiful day in New York...blue sky, lots of sun..oh and snow and 32 degrees out... I've been watching Beauty Shop almost non-stop lately (it's the one movie I have that I can put in and not pay that much attention to while I unpack from my move)..it's shot in Hot-lanta and makes me want to come down so bad! I will be there in October for sure as I have a reunion to attend! Hope all is well with you. Tell the family "hi" for me!

Dawn Nicole	Jan 1 2008 9:33 PM Happy New Year! I snuck into Burnsville over Christmas - got a couple days and surprised my family on Christmas Eve. One note - I highly recommend going 19/26 to 19/23 into Burnsville the long way. STAY AWAY FROM IRON MOUNTAIN!!! (I was told it was a good thing I went at night and couldn't see where I was.) I also learned it is better that if you need to go to the Micaville end of Double Island, it is better to go up to Hwy 19 off Iron Mountian and go around than to think you've lucked out and found a short cut then 12 curvy miles later realize that it definately wasn't. I did get to see the llama farm. Also, thank God Burnsville is a small town. I prayed for God to send some people to tell me where I was and - shocking in Yancey Co - there was a church..with people outside...and I said "Do you know the Chrisawn's?" Of course they did! "Two more miles!" Yay! Hope you're holidays have been wonderful! Best wishes for 2008!
