The members of Unbroken are individually influenced by too many bands to list here, but some of the collective influences are Sevendust, Tool, Deftones, Pantera, Slayer, Five Finger Death Punch, Rage against the Machine, Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, Disturbed, Godsmack, Korn, System of a Down, Metallica, White Zombie, Megadeth, Flaw, Static X, Prong, Slipknot, Stone Sour, Mudvayne, Rammstein...and many many others.

How do you write a bio for a band without sounding like every other band out there? We could go on a long drawn out tirade about how much ass we kick, but we won’t. We’re not going to tell you that we have opened up for numerous national acts such as Slayer, Killswitch Engage, Shadows Fall, and Stone Sour among others. We’re not even going to tell you that we played the Jagermeister music tour, and the Mayhem Festival. And before you realize that we told you what we weren’t going to tell you, you have already read the paragraph and are moving on the next part of this bio.
With a combined 80 years of musical experience, Duke, TJ, Donnie, and Doug are 4 seasoned musicians who have played all different styles of music. They bring influences of numerous styles, from Metal and Hard Rock, to Jazz, Funk, Groove, and experimental music. The forthcoming full length CD will run the table of musical genres. In short…it won’t be a metal album…nor will it be rock, jazz, experimental, groove, or any other “genre”. It will just be good music.
The key to Unbroken’s success is tenacity. They have traveled the rough road, and have paid their dues. They live to play live, and through it all, they have persevered as one of the premier and top drawing bands in the Baltimore area.
Its pretty funny when you can buy a couple boxes of girlscout cookies for $3 and then later that night sell them to drunk patrons for $5 a box. We'll get in the studio faster than I thought we would! -Brandon
